Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 10%

These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.

About This Job

This position is responsible for managing the documentation process for Equipment Finance (EQF), including operational management, fully documenting equipment leases, following for executed lease documents, UCC filing, equipment inspections, insurance, progress funding, processing, closing, funding and support activities with the Equipment Finance Department.

The incumbent will participate in the development and recommendation of objectives, policies and procedures, ensure consistent operational, regulatory and quality standards and methods as it relates to equipment finance process support, closing, funding, and customer service activities, while providing training, guidance and functional direction to support staff, monitor workflow/quality, turnaround time, and provide performance feedback to staff.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of lease documentation and funding packages.
• Negotiate lease documentation with in-house counsel.
• Review third party documentation and funding packages.
• Incorporate credit approval requirements into lease documentation, including managing credit approval expiration dates
• Review executed lease documentation and manage the funding process, including progress fundings and final fundings.
• Work with equipment vendors’ invoices ensuring equipment descriptions and invoiced amounts are detailed, accurate, and complete.
• Request vendor approvals as appropriate
• Review UCCs for filing in appropriate jurisdiction.
• Order and review UCC searches, partial releases, and proper authorizations.
• Manage UCC continuations.
• Order insurance certificates, review for additional insureds and coverage, and track for expiration dates.
• Order and review equipment inspection reports.
• Act as liaison between customer and internal equipment finance functions.
• Track active leases in ASPIRE and nCino.
• Manage the equipment finance documentation team, including time keeping, PTO, and workload.
• Identify and develop process improvements to enhance customer experience while increasing the efficiency and quality of the equipment finance work product.
• Administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or substitute work experience
• Two to five years of equipment finance/leasing documentation experience.
• 1+ year experience in leading or managing others, providing clear direction and leadership by example.
• A working knowledge of general contracts and secured lien perfection processes (i.e. UCC Financing Statements and PMSI).
• Additional qualifying work experience can be substituted, on a year-for-year basis, for the education requirement.
• Positive attitude, leading by example, providing an uplifting environment for you and others in the workplace.
• Willingness to improve your management skills and to help improve the skills of others.
• Demonstrated organizational and management skills in handling, directing, and prioritizing multiple complex tasks
• Demonstrated ability to communicate through presentations as well as written memos, policies and process diagrams
• Respect for others working in a team environment to achieve a common objective
• Proficiency with MS Office products.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.
• Adherence to regulatory requirements for compliance to policy and procedure
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy providing an excellent work product.
• Experience using ASPIRE equipment leasing and nCino software is preferred
