Bardenay requires three years of prior serving experience in a full-service restaurant and you must be 21 years or older.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid position that combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on service. The Floor Manager will split their time between managing front-of-house operations and working regular shifts as a server. This dual role is ideal for someone who leads by example and enjoys being actively involved in the guest experience.
The Floor Manager is responsible for assisting with the business performance of the establishment, paying specific attention to the FOH staff. He or she coordinates all activities including customer relations and staffing to ensure efficiency and profitability. Requires experience in various facets of the restaurant industry or related field, or a degree in a related field.
General Responsibilities
· Helps manage food, liquor and labor costs.
· Maintain high standards of quality control and health and safety.
· Encouraged to attend regular weekly management meetings.
· Provide leadership and team building for service staff.
· Coordinate with the AGM and GM to investigate and resolve food quality issues and service complaints.
Requirements
Job Qualifications
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
· Previous management experience a plus.
· 3 years serving experience required.
· Excellent oral communication skills required.
· Positive interpersonal skills required.
· Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
License/Qualifications – will be required to hold and maintain:
· ServSafe alcohol training certification
· ServSafe food manager certification
