Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for a Materials Management & Transportation Manager (K) to join the Kitting Team located in Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management, and/or supply chain functions in a production environment.
  • 1+ year of experience in leading or managing a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience with Production Operations or Production Control.
  • APICS certification
  • Experience working with materials management systems, tools, and processes.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $101,150 – $136,850 USD

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
