Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is hiring for a Materials Management & Transportation Manager (K) to join the Kitting Team located in Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

Manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation.
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

5+ years of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management, and/or supply chain functions in a production environment.
1+ year of experience in leading or managing a team.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years of experience with Production Operations or Production Control.
APICS certification
Experience working with materials management systems, tools, and processes.

Summary pay range: $101,150 – $136,850 USD
