Municipal Mosquito is a locally-owned company delivering integrated mosquito management services for cities and municipalities across North Texas. Since 2006, we’ve specialized in responsible, science-based control strategies that emphasize public health and safety. As we gear up for our busy season, we’re hiring Vector Control Technicians to be on the front lines of our mission.
This is not residential pest control. This is public service work — the kind of job where your effort helps prevent disease, protect families, and make summer more livable for hundreds of thousands of people. Part time and Full time positions are available.
Why Municipal Mosquito?
We’re not your typical pest control company. Our focus is public health, and our methods emphasize science, sustainability, and smart team management. As we expand to serve more municipalities across North Texas, we’re building a team that shares our commitment to excellence — and has fun while doing it.
If an employer mentions a salary or salary range on their job, we display it as an "Employer Estimate". If a job has no salary data, Rise displays an estimate if available.
Are you ready to be a crucial part of a community-focused initiative? Join Municipal Mosquito as a Mosquito Control Technician and play a vital role in safeguarding public health across North Texas! With a starting pay of $18–$24 per hour depending on your experience, this full-time position offers more than just financial benefits. You’ll be delivering integrated mosquito management services, especially during our busy summer months when maintaining community wellbeing is key. As a technician, you'll operate our company vehicles following assigned service routes in parks, greenbelts, and residential areas to conduct trapping and apply mosquito control products safely and effectively. Your day-to-day will involve using equipment like hand-held or truck-mounted sprayers, maintaining detailed logs, and ensuring everything complies with safety standards. Collaboration is also part of the job; you’ll engage professionally with community members and city officials, representing our commitment to public service. We offer comprehensive training and support to help you succeed, so previous experience in pest control is not a necessity. With our competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and benefits like health insurance and paid time off, Municipal Mosquito is more than a job; it's a chance to contribute meaningfully to public health while enjoying what you do. If you're detail-oriented, enjoy working outdoors, and are ready to make a difference, we can’t wait to meet you! Let’s make summer safer together!
