Job Description

OT Cybersecurity & Infrastructure is in charge of ensuring high performing & Cybersecure OT Infrastructure with strong focus on long term readiness and planning to all production technology areas in the Tire Manufacturing plants globally. OT Infrastructure also focused on 100% material input validation initiative from central quality with RFIDs (Radio Frequency Identification).

To support our team at the location Hannover-Stöcken we are looking for a student (m/f/diverse) for an internship lasting about 6 months starting as soon as possible.

Tasks include:

  • Improve existing OPC UA Gateway application for standalone connection of RFID readers 
  • Training our Tire plants for pilot implementation of RFID solutions
  • Setup RFID test lab with needed hardware and software for different vendors
  • Develop and improve PowerBI Dashboard to represent department KPIs & follow-up tasks
  • Support on maintaining our knowledge base for RFID solutions & OT infrastructure topics

Qualifications

  • On-going studies of Informatics, Mechatronic or similar programs
  • Ideally having a specialization in Industrial Automation
  • Basic programming skills in C#, HTML, CSS
  • Basic knowledge on RFIDs
  • Initial experiences working with OPC UA Server and Client
  • Good command in generating Power BI reports
  • Competent handling of MS-Office
  • Fluent English and basic German language skills (written and spoken)
  • Great communication and networking skills
  • Structured and creative thinking
