DeepL's Legal team is seeking Legal Operations Specialist to join their legal team . As legal operations practitioner, you will work closely with our legal team and and out business partners to provide support and assistance across a range of projects. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative company that is at the forefront of the language technology revolution.
This role requires a commercially oriented individual who is eager to learn and has the drive and interest to tackle a wide range of tasks within the legal department.
Assisting the legal team with some of their administrative tasks:
Updating intranet (Confluence) pages
Assisting team with updates on the DeepL internet legal pages
Support the billing process
Supporting on legal intake processes
Help managing and supporting projects across the full range of subjects dealt with by the legal team. Must be adaptable and proactive in identifying areas of need and generating action plans
Build spreadsheets/dashboards to help manage internal legal processes (e.g. contracts update process, termination process)
Assist in identifying and implementing legal department tools to streamline new or existing practices
Assist in developing learning and knowledge materials for the legal team and supporting departments to promote knowledge transfer
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, support, service, business development, regulatory, IT, and finance, as well as various business units
Help the legal operations manager to define and drive strategic and operational initiatives with on-time and on-budget results
Gathering and analysing legal data to provide insights for the legal team.
2-5 year experience with the legal sector as a paralegal or within a legal operations
Proactive, autonomous, resilient, adaptable, eager to continually learn and develop professionally
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel, good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Fluent in English (other European or Asian language is a plus)
