Description
The Vice President of Revenue is responsible for leading the organization’s total revenue strategy across all business units. This role is critical in maximizing profitability through dynamic pricing, demand forecasting, distribution strategy, and performance optimization across a portfolio of hotels or hospitality assets. The VP of Revenue works closely with sales, marketing, operations, and ownership to ensure commercial alignment and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Revenue Management
• Develop and oversee revenue strategies that maximize RevPAR, occupancy, ADR, and overall profitability.
• Lead the implementation of pricing strategies and demand forecasting across all market segments.
• Create and refine multi-property or brand-level commercial strategies.
Distribution & Channel Optimization
• Manage distribution partnerships (OTAs, GDS, brand.com, wholesalers) to optimize net revenue.
• Oversee rate parity, channel mix, and booking window strategies.
• Ensure effective use of distribution technology (CRS, RMS, PMS, and channel managers).
Cross-Functional Leadership
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to align revenue strategy with overall business goals.
• Partner with digital marketing to ensure paid media, SEO, and promotions support revenue objectives.
• Coordinate with property-level and corporate stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution.
Data-Driven Decision Making
• Lead the use of data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools to drive strategic insights.
• Monitor market trends, comp set performance (STR, HotStats), and economic factors affecting demand.
• Create robust forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
Preferred Attributes:
• Experience with both branded and independent hotel portfolios.
• Exposure to resort, luxury, or lifestyle hospitality segments.
• Familiarity with asset management and ownership reporting requirements.

Requirements
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in hospitality revenue management or commercial strategy.
• Proven leadership experience in a multi-property or brand-level role.
• Deep knowledge of hotel systems (e.g., Opera, SynXis, IDeaS, Duetto, TravelClick).
• Strong understanding of hospitality economics, booking behaviors, and market segmentation.
• Advanced analytical skills; strong proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and performance dashboards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
