The opportunity

We're looking for an inspiring and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a maternity cover to help drive SAS Energy renewables business forward in the UK. In this key leadership role, you’ll provide strategic direction across Sales & Origination, Development, and Corporate Services—ensuring these teams work seamlessly together to achieve success.

Shape the Vision & Strategy – Be at the forefront of defining and championing our mission, vision, and strategic goals, positioning us as a market leader.

Lead with Impact – Step in as the CEO’s deputy, inspiring and guiding our Leadership Team and the wider organisation with a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

Drive Business Success – Oversee sales and origination, ensuring we secure the right projects at the right margins to fuel our growth and long-term success.

Deliver Seamless Execution – Lead our development function, ensuring projects achieve FID approval and transition smoothly into construction.

Enhance Corporate Services – Align corporate functions with business needs, ensuring they support and enhance our strategic goals.

Ensure Financial Strength – Monitor financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies for long-term profitability and sustainability.

Build Strong Customer Relationships – Engage with key customers, understand their needs, and foster lasting partnerships.

Measure Success – Implement performance metrics and reporting systems to track progress and keep the SAS Board informed.
