Job Description

We are seeking a Social Media Analyst to join our dynamic and growing marketing team. This role will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing Equinox’s social media performance across platforms, providing actionable insights that drive engagement, brand growth, and business impact. As part of a rapidly evolving team, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to the expansion and refinement of our social media strategy, ensuring it remains a key driver of brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about leveraging data to inform strategy while working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize social media’s impact across the entire customer journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging channels).
  • Develop and maintain social media dashboards and reporting frameworks to track KPIs such as engagement, reach, sentiment, conversion, and audience growth.
  • Provide data-backed insights and recommendations to optimize content strategy, posting cadence, and audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with content, creative, and paid media teams to ensure social insights inform creative development and campaign strategies.
  • Track and benchmark performance against competitors and industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Support A/B testing initiatives to assess content effectiveness and platform optimizations.
  • Partner with influencer and brand marketing teams to measure the impact of influencer collaborations and organic/paid social initiatives.
  • Lead social listening efforts to monitor brand sentiment, emerging conversations, and audience feedback.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media analytics, digital marketing, or related roles, preferably within luxury, fitness, or lifestyle industries.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Dash Hudson, NetBase, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data, identifying trends, and presenting insights in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Understanding of paid and organic social media strategies and their impact on brand marketing and business goals.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and platform-native analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations.
  • Passion for social media trends, audience behavior, and digital storytelling.

Pay Transparency: Min $75K - Max $80K
