EUC Engineer

As an EUC Engineer at Fervo Energy, you'll serve as the highest escalation point for all EUC-related issues, ensuring complex hardware, software, and OS-level problems are resolved efficiently. Your role involves managing desktop and laptop environments, administering endpoint management tools, overseeing patch management, and supporting enterprise applications. Additionally, you'll be tasked with developing automation scripts to streamline operations and enhancing the security and compliance of the EUC environment.

As an EUC Engineer at Fervo Energy, you will work with various tools and technologies including Windows and Linux operating systems, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), virtualization technologies like Azure Virtual Desktop, and automation scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python. Additionally, you will engage with enterprise applications like Microsoft 365 and endpoint security solutions, playing a vital role in optimizing our EUC environment.

When troubleshooting complex EUC issues, I start with a systematic approach by gathering detailed information about the problem from the end user. I analyze logs and use diagnostic tools to identify the root cause. I then prioritize issues based on their impact, collaborating with relevant teams if necessary, and implement sustainable solutions to prevent future occurrences.

In my previous roles, I utilized Microsoft Intune extensively for managing and securing endpoints. I created policies for device compliance, configured app deployments, and monitored device health. My hands-on experience allowed me to optimize device configuration, ensuring seamless user experiences while adhering to security protocols.
