The Opportunity
"As a senior member of the Business Applications team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, support, and maintenance of all functions for Oracle ERP applications and related Databases and environments, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will be responsible for the following: database access, backups, refreshes, stability, patching, performance, security, documentation, and audit compliance. In this role you will monitor overall system performance and ensure the critical business systems are available to the organization. You will also consult with users, determine requirements and recommend database establishment and utilization".– Business Systems Engineering, Senior Director
What You’ll Contribute
Responsible for Oracle E-Business Suite administration, installation, maintenance and support
Responsible for OEM, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle EBS, OAM
Responsible for the design, implementation, support and maintenance of all functions of relational database systems
Responsible for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure components: compute, load balancers, networking, and storage.
Monitor overall standards and procedures and assist in integrating various systems
Provide database administration for mission-critical custom and packaged database software
Design storage strategies around backup and recovery for complex database environments, physical structures, and specialized database applications / systems
Uphold enterprise policy guidelines and recommend new / improved guidelines
Partner with project teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed databases
Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to perform in all of the basic database management skills of database administration, Web connectivity, physical structure, overall architecture, and database analysis
Provide standardization and consistency across environments
Ensure a stable and secure database environment
Implement and monitor database functionality to ensure stable environments
Identify and initiate resolutions to user problems and concerns associated with database server equipment (hardware and software)
Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them
Serve as a key resource on complex and / or critical issues
Solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
Forecast and plan resource requirements
Ability and desire to approach challenges creatively and willingness to explore and learn new tools and capabilities
Support On-call rotation and respond to alerts
What We’re Seeking
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and or equivalent experience.
Strong understanding of database technologies and platforms, including Oracle EBS (12.2.x) , Oracle Database (19c) , WebLogic, Data Guard, Linux, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle APEX
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Proficient in Linux (Oracle Linux)
Proficiency with adpatch, adop, adctrl, and adadmin utilities
Experience tuning forms and weblogic JVMs.
Experience performing DR switchover/failover
Proven knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and logical analysis of complicated problems.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users
Extensive Oracle Database Administration experience.
Skilled in both relational and non-relational database technologies.

The targeted base pay range for this role is: $105,000 to $165,000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
