Key responsibilities for this role include:

Collaboration: Work with IT and Business stakeholders to understand the project requirements.
Data Collection & Cleaning: Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple sources.
Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to support insights and business decisions.
ML Modeling Support: Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning models, from data preprocessing to model evaluation.
Develop minimum viable products, or proof of concepts.
Present results to the stakeholders.
Follow industry best practices and Viatris’s SOP.
Document requirements, processes, and findings.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their Bachelor’s third year or Master’s first year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Software Engineering, or a related field of study. A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Business Intelligence lifecycle and knowledge of Python, SQL, Machine Learning concepts (like ML algorithms, data selection, feature extraction, training, validation, and storytelling). Good to know Azure cloud and Git.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is: if pursuing Bachelor's degree = $20/hour, if pursuing Master's degree = $25/hour, if pursuing Doctorate degree = $30/hour.
