About the Team

As an Instructional Designer on the Customer Operations team and a key member of the Fireblocks Academy team, you will develop repeatable e-learning experiences that best showcase Fireblocks’ products. You’ll collaborate with creative education, enablement, and customer success professionals to develop curricula, write scripts, work with subject matter experts, and design courses.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about education and finds fulfillment through teaching and learning. You should be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects from start to finish with minimal supervision. You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and are adaptable to both shifting business needs and new technologies.

Collaboration is at the core of what we do, so being able to work effectively with people across different backgrounds and skill sets is key. Strong written and verbal communication, paired with a strategic, problem-solving mindset, will help you influence and drive learning outcomes. You'll also leverage data and learning analytics to continuously improve Fireblocks’ instructional content and identify opportunities for innovation.

What You'll Do

  • Creating effective and engaging self-paced e-learning courses and other aspects of the certification program.
  • Collaborating with Fireblocks subject matter experts to gather knowledge, assess, and develop e-learning.
  • Understanding and communicating highly complex material and presenting simplified and relevant learning design proposals.
  • Partner with the TCSM lead on maintaining an internal knowledge base to ensure training material is organized, accessible and updated.
  • Collaborating with other learning, enablement and design professionals to create consistent content that meets brand standards.
  • Advocating for the learner and becoming a champion of quality learning.

What You'll Bring

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, a related field such as Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of direct experience in designing and developing technical curricula, training materials, and content to include online/e-learning modules, online tutorials, and other relevant training assets using high-quality professional design standards
  • Experience working in a hi-tech, dynamic fast-paced environment, preferably with a SAAS product
  • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and ability to evaluate learning effectiveness using instructional design assessment strategies (e.g., WCAG compliance).
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate 360 - Rise, Articulate 360 - Storyline, Genially.io, Adobe Captivate, Lectora)
  • Experience in creating video-based courses and animations (Camtasia, Premiere, After Effects. etc)
  • Understanding of how Learning Management Systems (LMS) work, including common LMS features (experience with Docebo preferred) and the use of eLearning protocols(xAPI, CMI5, SCORM) to communicate information and create engaging learning experiences.
  • Demonstrated success working in a cross-functional team environment on multiple projects with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Hands-on experience in the technical implementation of educational tools and processes, showcasing proficiency in leveraging technology to enhance team efficiency and educational outcomes.
  • A keen design eye and a close attention to detail

For employees hired to work from our NYC HQ, Fireblocks is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range is specific to New York City and takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are reviewed when making a hiring decision, such as years of experience, skills, and other business needs.

It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and each compensation decision is dependent on each individual case. A reasonable base salary range estimate for this position is $92,000 - $120,000. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which for some roles may include a target bonus, a very competitive equity grant, and very generous benefits.

While we believe competitive compensation is a critical aspect of your decision to join us, we do hope you also spend time considering why our mission and culture are right for you. We are creating something transformational here, and we hope you are as excited about the future as we are.

Fireblocks' mission is to enable every business to easily and securely access digital assets and cryptocurrencies. In order to do that, we strongly believe our workforce should be as diverse as our clients, and this is why we embrace diversity and inclusion in all its forms.
