Seasonal Full-Time Retail Sales Associate

The Fortessa Store, an upscale tableware retail establishment that delivers service excellence to restaurateurs, chefs, and foodies alike at One Loudoun is hiring full-time personnel to join the team.

As a Seasonal Full-Time Retail Sales Associate, you play a key role in driving sales, improving customer experience, and leading a motivated team. Acting as the main contact for both consumers and restaurant clients, you ensure all interactions meet our high service standards. Along with sales and store operations, you'll manage social media to boost brand visibility and oversee team training for consistent product knowledge and customer engagement.

Job Description

SALES: 

  • Assist retail and commercial customers in-store and electronically (phone/email)
  • Drive new business by engaging with walk-in customers and recommending products
  • Coordinate orders and in-store pickups for commercial clients

STORE OPERATIONS: 

  • Participate in daily store activities (register, sales, opening/closing)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Assist with inventory management

SHIPPING & RECEIVING:

  • Manage inbound deliveries, including logging and distribution as needed

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in retail sales, customer service, or similar field
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong time management, organizational, and follow-through skills
  • High energy, self-motivated, and excellent at customer interactions

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 60 pounds
  • Frequent reaching with hands and arms
  • Clear communication, both verbal and written, in English
