Social Media Strategist

Additionally, GMG has an expansive experiential arm rooted in Gallery Houses—a fusion of social content, creators, and cultural moments at scale—and a robust influencer marketing business.The company was founded in 2010 by CEO, Ryan Harwood, and is now part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company.We are looking for a Social Media Strategist to help develop, implement and execute social media strategy for client TikTok handles. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in social media marketing and video content creation within the digital media industry, an agency, or brand. You will have a grasp of both strategy and creative, with knowledge of platform best practices, the ability to communicate learnings in an effective way across teams and stakeholders, plus content ideas that will help achieve growth KPIs and delight audiences.Passion, drive, creativity and attention to detail are key characteristics that will help the individual thrive in this environment.Experience & Skills:• Proven experience building social media audiences, especially on TikTok• 4+ years working for an agency, digital publisher, and/or brand• Solid communication, presentation, and analytical skills• You will be a proven creative and data-driven thinker who understands the importance of both art and science when it comes to social content successResponsibilities:• Ownership of client TikTok handles’ strategy and operation• Managing junior team members and content creators• Community management and schedule ownership• Produce and present regular reporting, inclusive of content analysis and strategic recommendations• Alongside the Associate Director, Social Strategy, you will be a main point person for the client/s to communicate needs, priorities and ideasMeasurement:This role will be measured on…• Audience growth (on relevant social channels)• Increased engagementLocation: New York (Hybrid)Unsure if you meet the qualifications?
