Gannett Fleming TranSystems is seeking a DelMarVa Transportation Lead to join our team in Fairfax! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Fairfax office. What you’ll be challenged to do:

Significant position of responsibility entrusted to lead a multidisciplined geography of 150 transportation professionals
Key member of Mid Atlantic Regional team promoting client engagement, technical excellence and project delivery
Client base includes transportation clients in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Kentucky
Business metrics currently support sales and growth for a $35M net revenue business
Significant opportunities for client growth through depth and diversity of service offerings
Provide visible external leadership in the engineering community to enhance the reputation of the firm and be available for client engagement
High level interaction with internal leaders in other business groups to develop strategies for cross selling services
Promote the execution and delivery of projects to meet client expectations
Recruiting key staff and retaining talented professionals within the DelMarVA area

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Position reports to Mid Atlantic Transportation Regional Leader
DelMarVA Area is within the overall Transportation Business Group
Primary sales will be for design services with cross selling opportunities in transit, construction inspection, program management and environmental services
Oversee and participate in the successful management of large scale projects
Conduct routine project reviews to promote client engagement and satisfaction with contracted deliverables
Be an integral part of strategic pursuit planning/discussions and serving as the capture manager on appropriate pursuits
Oversee implementation of quality program requirements
Represent GF and continue to grow relationships with industry partners and clients through project work and professional society involvement/events
Conduct necessary client and staff interaction meetings to promote a culture where employees are value and excellent work is celebrated
Promote leading edge technology and innovations
Interview and hire new staff as needed for healthy growth

What you will bring to our firm: • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license • 10-15 years of Transportation experience Compensation:The range for this position is salary range is $225,000 - $250,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
