Events & Marketing Executive

Hybrid based in London 2 days a week, the other 3 days wfh/office

ABOUT THE ROLE

Goodlord’s mission is to provide the best renting experience in the world and we’re on the hunt for an Events and Marketing Executive.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your Event management and Partner Marketing skills in a fast-moving environment and take ownership of some of our most successful marketing channels such as events, industry partners and webinars to help win us more business! This role sits within our growth marketing team reporting to the Head of Demand Generation.

No two days are ever the same at Goodlord so what you’ll be up to will vary. The pace we move at also means priorities will change and you’ll need to be comfortable with this (we’ll support you!). But these are the things that will be core to your role and will keep you busy. 

The day to day stuff:

  • Successfully manage and execute end-to-end virtual and in person events strategies that deliver results measured in MQL’s, pipeline created, won accounts, and revenue. This could include exhibitions, seminars, roundtables, webinars and client events
  • Communicate with our partners and help develop partner marketing campaigns - and ensure we are in a position to grow, track and measure performance.
  • Update Salesforce and Hubspot with leads and activities to ensure marketing activity can be measured and the sales team can work effectively from the leads generated
  • Full ownership of promotional merchandise for the business & printed content 
  • Identify and apply Goodlord into industry awards 
  • Working with Sales and Customer Success to facilitate our customer referrals programme 
  • Identify new opportunities and bring a creative mindset to brainstorm “out of the box” ideas to further brand awareness

ABOUT YOU

You should apply if you:

  • BA degree in Marketing (or equivalent) or relevant work experience
  • Strong Copywriting skills 
  • A good understanding of the marketing funnel from MQL & SAO to closed won
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills - this is going to form a large part of your role after all!
  • A Self starter attitude with a willingness to work hard to learn new skills
  • Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail

It would also be great if you had:

  • Experience working in a marketing role in Insurance/Finance/Property sector
  • Strong Presentation skills (We are happy to teach this as long as you are happy to learn!)

We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, landlord and tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution.
