Description
Position starts at $15.55 with annual merit increases and production bonuses. SUMMARY
Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of Goodwill’s ecommerce department by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important.
Receives items from the processing area, performs an initial sort of product and selects appropriate merchandise for the ShopGoodwill website.
Cleans items and prepares products for inclusion into the ShopGoodwill store.
Photographs items and prepares written descriptions of items, accessing ShopGoodwill and other online resources to obtain relevant product information.
List items for sale in the ecommerce software, integrating description, bids, and photographs of items.
Updates inventory of merchandise as items are sold.
Provides customer service by responding to inquiries through electronic communication.
Searches other auction sites for competitive information and determines enhancement to ShopGoodwill.
Processes and packages orders, returns and exchanges for shipping.
Reviews sellers’ information on ShopGoodwill to ensure that it is compliant with requirements related to posting of items, description etiquette, and other criteria.
Safeguards company property, including donated goods. Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to the E-commerce Manager, Ecommerce Special Projects Manager or other members of management.
