This role involves tackling novel legal and technical issues related to privacy and data protection and contributing to supporting a world-class Legal team. This role will work cross-functionally across the company, including with our Trust, Engineering, Product, Marketing, Compliance, and Communications teams.
As a Privacy Counsel, you’ll excel by supporting the evolution and maturation of our global privacy program - bringing a sense of mission and customer-first mindset to the intersection of law, business, and technology. As a member of the Grammarly Legal team, you will also help develop the team’s culture through exemplary care for others and a solid commitment to finding creative solutions to complex questions. This role reports to the Director of Privacy.

Grammarly takes a market-based approach to compensation, which means base pay may vary depending on your location. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations.
Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The expected salary ranges for this position are outlined below by compensation zone and may be modified in the future.
United States: Zone 1: $225,000 – $309,000/year
