Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs to build and lead our global medical affairs function. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing the medical affairs strategy and capabilities with an initial focus on supporting the late-phase clinical development and commercialization of our lead program darovasertib, in Uveal Melanoma [UM]. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of and experience with medical strategy, and have a track record of successfully leading operational execution of the full breadth of medical affairs launch activities for a late-phase oncology development program. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and a track record of successful collaboration with cross-functional teams and relationship building with external stakeholders.
This role reports to the Chief Medical Officer and will require close partnership with the Chief Commercial Officer and other functions. This role is based in IDEAYA’s South San Francisco, California office, with an expectation to be in office 4 days a week.

The base salary range for the Senior Vice President, Medical Affairs is:
$405,000 - $445,000
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the office location where this open position is located, the final candidates’ experience within their profession, experience in the disease areas we are striving to make an impact in as a company, length of time within the industry, educational background, and performance during the interview process.
