Senior/Principal Product Designer

About Chamber

At Chamber, we’re redefining virtual spaces. Blending cutting-edge immersive tech with human-centered design, we craft vibrant and intuitive environments where people collaborate, create, and engage effortlessly.

We’re looking for our first Senior Product Designer to join the team. This is a rare opportunity to shape the design direction of a new product from the ground up. You'll be embedded in a small, high-trust, cross-functional team where design has a seat at the table from day one.

As our first design hire, you’ll:

  • Lead the design of web and 3D user experiences across web and real-time environments.

  • Define user journeys and interaction models supporting clarity, flow, and usability across flat and spatial interfaces.

  • Define end-to-end design journeys, from initial concept and research to prototyping and polished UI.

  • Help shape the design culture, tooling, and systems that support scalable, consistent experiences.

  • Design high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and documentation that drive implementation across web and real-time environments.

  • Balance functionality and simplicity, introducing complex features through intuitive interactions.

  • Conduct user research, map insights into actionable design goals, and iterate based on feedback..

  • Play a pivotal role in setting the standard for design at Chamber, and have a direct impact on how people connect, collaborate, and feel in digital spaces.

We’d Love to Hear From You If You Have

  • 7+ years’ experience in product or UX/UI design roles.

  • A portfolio that shows your ability to create compelling, usable experiences across platforms.

  • Strong experience with design tools like Figma, and ideally some experience with Unreal (UMG, Blueprints).

  • Familiarity with 3D design, interaction in immersive environments, and tools like Blender, Maya, or Cinema4D.

  • Excellent communication skills — you're comfortable presenting your work with cross-functional teams.

Why You're Made for This

You are:

  • Deeply user-centered, passionate about understanding pain points and turning insights into elegant solutions.

  • Equally comfortable zooming out to define product flows and zooming in to sweat the pixel-perfect details.

  • Excited by early-stage ambiguity and eager to help shape a product, team, and culture from day one.

  • A natural collaborator who thrives on feedback, iteration, and building alongside others.

Nice to Have (but Not Essential)

  • Experience designing for virtual collaboration, conferencing, or real-time social platforms.

  • Skills in animation, motion design, or prototyping complex transitions.

  • Familiarity with front-end tech (HTML/CSS or modern JS frameworks).

  • A background in spatial design, concept art, or environmental storytelling.

What You'll Get

  • The chance to shape the design direction of a product with purpose and vision.

  • The autonomy and trust to lead, experiment, and grow.

  • A collaborative, low-ego team committed to building something meaningful and new.

  • Flexible remote work options and a culture that values life outside the screen.
