The Technical Director/Team Leader, Service Delivery will provide overall technical leadership and oversight to the project and also serve as the Team Lead for Objective 1. The position will lead design and day-to-day management of technical assistance efforts to improve capacity of the GRZ to deliver high-quality RMNCAH&N services at the facility level. S/he will support the Chief of Party to ensure technical quality and consistency of technical assistance, coordinate project participation in TWGs, and mentor subnational clinical advisors. The Technical Director/Team Leader will work closely with Team Leads and subnational TA teams to ensure the project progresses toward expected results. S/he will also work with MEL staff to ensure project deliverables are monitored and course corrections are identified and implemented as appropriate. Other key responsibilities include supervising Technical and Cross-Cutting Advisors and adapting project activities based on monitoring at the district level.

Jhpiego is looking for a Technical Director/Team Lead for Objective 1 based in Lusaka to provide overall technical leadership and oversight to our projects. In this role, you'll lead the design and management of technical assistance efforts aimed at enhancing the capacity of the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) to deliver quality Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health and Nutrition (RMNCAH&N) services at facility levels. You'll work alongside the Chief of Party to ensure the consistency and technical quality of our assistance, while also mentoring subnational clinical advisors. Collaboration is key as you'll coordinate efforts with various team leads and monitoring staff to achieve our project goals effectively. Your expertise will guide the development of strategic planning and innovative approaches to RMNCAH&N service delivery, while overseeing the mentoring and capacity building of local organizations. Stakeholder relationships are important; you'll engage with USAID, the Ministry of Health (MOH), and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations.
