One of our companies is currently looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer, Horizon in Latam.

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be a key member of the Horizon Squad, responsible for architecting and implementing new features on the platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to shape the product strategy, define OKRs, and drive the roadmap forward. This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise with leadership, offering you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and success of the platform.

Accountabilities:

• Architect and implement new features on the web platform using ReactJS and NextJS.
• Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, and seamless user experiences across different devices and browsers.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate frontend functionality with backend APIs.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and reusable components.
• Stay up-to-date with frontend technologies and trends, incorporating them to improve product quality and user experience.
• Participate in the code review process to ensure high-quality code and improve team knowledge.
• Enhance test coverage and automate frontend testing using tools like Jest and Cypress.

• At least 5+ years of experience in frontend development as a Software Engineer.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, and Redux.
• Experience with modern frontend build tools and optimization techniques.
• Proficient in working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX best practices and experience working closely with design teams.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with an advanced level of English.
• Passionate about delivering a great user experience and solving complex technical challenges.
