GTM Recruiting Sourcer

About Kojo

It's time to build. Whether it's creating more housing, upgrading our infrastructure, or adapting to climate change, one thing is clear: the construction industry is at the center of solving our biggest problems. We’re making buildings cheaper and easier to build by transforming the way commercial construction companies buy their materials. Join us.

Founded in 2018, Kojo is now one of the fastest-growing construction technology companies in the world. Construction accounts for $10 trillion in global spend annually and we can’t live without its output - our roads, schools, hospitals, and offices. Despite this, there’s been very little innovation over the past 70 years in how materials - which constitute up to 40% of project costs - are bought and sold. This is our opportunity.

Our Talent Acquisition team is growing! We are looking for a contract GTM/Sales Recruiting Sourcer to help build a strong pipeline of top-tier talent, primarily supporting our expanding Canada-based sales team.

About the Role

This role will include:

  • Sourcing, identifying, and engaging with candidates through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, and social media

  • Collaborating with hiring managers and TA to deeply understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles

  • Screening and assessing candidates for technical expertise, cultural fit, and alignment with Kojo’s values and performance expectations

  • Providing accurate information to sourced candidates to ensure they are interested in Kojo, selling candidates on Kojo opportunity

  • Serving as the main point of contact for candidates until they are handed off to the internal Talent Acquisition and Sales team

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records in Ashby, ensuring smooth workflows and communication

About You

Our talent bar is high and the team is scaling fast. If your talent network is wide, your ability to attract amazing candidates is reliable, and you’re ready to make a material impact on our growth—apply with us!

What you’ve accomplished:

  • 2+ years of experience in sourcing and/or full lifecycle recruiting, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment

  • Strong proficiency in English - both written and verbal communication

  • Experience sourcing talent in our target geographical territories (Canada)

  • Ability to utilize LinkedIn Premium, Recruiter, social media, and other networking outlets to reach top prospects

  • Strong track record of building and maintaining high-quality talent pipelines

  • Familiarity with SDR and AE roles, tech stack, and common sales skills and leveling

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and excite candidates

  • Experience with Ashby or other ATS platforms to track and manage candidate relationships

What you care about:

  • Intentional Communication: You are thoughtful around what type of communication is necessary to achieve your goals expediently

  • Impact: You accomplish amazing amounts of important work

  • Accountability: You establish clear next steps and do what you say you’ll do

This is a contract-to-hire Sourcer role for candidates in Central America, South America, or Canada, month-to-month with the possibility of extension or transition to a full-time position, depending on performance and hiring needs.
