The Receptionist performs clerical duties for the Physician's office practice such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing charts. Other duties include, but are not limited to, filing patient reports, retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records. The Receptionist should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered. This person should demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner. Maneuvers through reception area. Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, computer systems.
Position is casual with no guarantee of hours. Must be able to assist at all three Physical Therapy locations (Marysville, Port Huron, Fort Gratiot). Must have excellent computer and customer service skills as well as experience with patient registration, verifying benefits, scheduling and cleaning equipment.
