Your Career Opportunity  

In this exciting new career opportunity, you’ll be reporting to the Data Team Lead on full-time hours and working from home remotely. 

As a Data Engineer, you will: 

  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines – Build and optimize data pipelines for efficient processing and management of large datasets. Assist in database design and development. 
  • Write and automate data scripts – Use SQL and Python for data manipulation, automating tasks, and implementing custom transformations.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Work with internal teams to understand business needs and translate them into efficient database designs.  
  • Improve database performance and architecture – Review, refactor code, and troubleshoot issues to enhance database performance as well as perform debugging procedures on database scripts and programs. 
  • Ensure data security and document processes – Follow best practices for data storage, backups, and archiving while documenting design, configuration, and performance details.  

What You'll Offer  

  • Advanced level of English language 
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) 
  • Experience with APIs, familiarity with Airflow, and knowledge of Big Data technologies would be a big plus. 
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking 
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, information technology, computer science, or similar.
