Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in all levels of the organization. Thorough understanding of ergonomics and applicable industry standards. Ability to understand manufacturing process flows and production methods. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and computer-aided design (AutoCAD). Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate all areas in the facility and access all machinery.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering required. Certificate in AutoCAD desirable.
Work Environment
Manufacturing plant environment with extreme fluctuation in temperature. Dusty and noisy environment. Exposure to odors and fumes.
