NBC Sports Next, an NBC Universal company, is hiring a Sales & Revenue Optimization Analyst. This role will support strategic analysis efforts within NBC Sports Next, focusing primarily on the GolfNow business. The role will support strategic deal modeling and sales strategy for our sales leadership within the GolfNow business as well as assist with building revenue optimizing strategies. The ideal candidate will be comfortable analyzing large datasets to create executive level summaries of key trends and manage revenue models to support strategic decision making within our various Operations teams.
Job Duties
Spearhead enterprise-level deal modeling by forecasting revenue impacts and delivering high-impact strategic recommendations to drive substantial revenue growth across the organization.
Leverage statistical methodologies and advanced SQL querying to design and optimize revenue models, focusing on churn reduction and pricing strategies to maximize revenues.
Develop innovative revenue-enhancing tools to elevate Sales performance by improving client retention, accelerating acquisition, and expanding upsell opportunities.
Lead B2B acquisition and retention strategies for golf products, conducting comprehensive analyses of product impact and customer lifetime value to inform strategy.
Design and continuously enhance automated Tableau dashboards to deliver actionable performance insights to Sales, Marketing, and Executive leadership at NBC Sports Next.
Provide performance-driven insights and collaborate closely with cross-functional leaders in Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure strategic alignment and support data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Basic Qualifications
BA degree in Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, Decision Sciences, Management Science or a related field
A minimum of 1+ years of financial or revenue/sales planning & analysis or revenue management experience
Strong critical thinking, problem solving skills and ability to work through complex problems.
Advanced skills in Excel and in reporting tools like SQL, R, Business Objects, Tableau, etc. preferred
