  • Perform inventory checks of the purchased assets, product placement, and film stock
  • Review Production documents to ensure compliance and reporting requirements for the applicable labor unions (e.g., SAG, DGA, WGA, IATSE) are met
  • Read scripts to get familiar with the content and identify elements that would require additional compliance and regulation such as smoking, minors, product placement, and aerial filming
  • Verify that proper service agreements and insurance for applicable vendors, such as rentals, locations, transportation, catering, and craft service
  • Assess the overall adequacy of security at production offices, stages, on set, and off-site storage facilities
  • Ensure work injuries and vehicles accidents involving cast or crew members are thoroughly documented and reported to the Environmental, Health, & Safety and Risk Management departments in a timely manner
  • Confirm drivers of regulated equipment are compliant with federal laws in respect to qualification files, turnaround violations, and time logging requirements
  • Communicate audit findings to key Accounting and Production personnel as well as to Studio Executives associated with the production via presentation and in person
  • Perform follow-up procedures by obtaining supporting documentation to validate that the audit findings identified were addressed and corrected in a timely manner
  • Prepare an Audit Report that includes all exceptions, the completed remediation procedures, and an overall audit conclusion to be submitted to the CFO and senior management
  • Perform ad hoc audit projects focused on the improvement of internal processes within other departments in the company

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
