Designer - Kaizen UI Design System

NVIDIA’s Kaizen UI Design System shortens the time between concept and deployment, while providing a consistent and stylish brand experience. We’re hiring a designer to join the Kaizen UI team. You’ll be helping teams at NVIDIA to ship critically important products. Our team comprises outstanding developers, designers, and product managers who work closely with members of the Deep Learning & AI community. As a Kaizen UI Designer, you will create new components and features, advocate for a consistent design language, and produce various forms of content supporting these efforts. You will collaborate across engineering, research, branding, and product management. We're looking for someone who is curious and collaborative. We are looking for an eager Senior Designer who is excited to work in a fast paced and fluid environment within a global multi-disciplinary team.What You’ll Be DoingInterpret user research insights and translate into tangible solutionsDesign new componentsDesign new features or variants of existing componentsProduce detailed component documentation for developers and designersRepresent the design system via stakeholder relationships, frequent presentationsCollaborate heavily across engineering, branding, and product teamsUphold our brand and usability standards, and ensure our products remain consistent, sleek and elegantWhat We Need To SeeBachelor's degree in a Design field (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience2+ years of relevant experienceExperience creating or contributing to enterprise scale design systemsDeep understanding of design tokensSuperior communication and presentation skillsFigma, or equivalent design application experienceAbility to work across multiple tracks of work and to pivot quickly in a changing environmentKnowledge of product design in the AI spaceDeep understanding of accessibilityWays To Stand Out From The CrowdExperience working on an agile team and familiarity with agile methodologiesMotion and interaction design experiencePrior work building or contributing to large design systemsUnderstanding of visual design principlesHTML, CSS, Javascript, ReactNVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
