Cloud Engineer – Tier II

As a Cloud Engineer – Tier II, your primary responsibilities will include managing escalated incidents related to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, performing in-depth troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with governance and security best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for optimizing cloud resources, implementing automation scripts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain cloud service reliability and performance.

To qualify for the Cloud Engineer – Tier II position in our healthcare IT environment, you should ideally have over 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud operations and Microsoft Azure services. Necessary qualifications include strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Azure CLI and familiarity with hybrid cloud environments. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and knowledge of ITSM practices are preferred.

In the role of Cloud Engineer – Tier II, you will actively support cloud infrastructure in our healthcare organization by troubleshooting critical incidents, managing cloud resource configurations, and ensuring that cloud services align with industry standards like HIPAA and HITRUST. Your expertise will foster an environment that emphasizes security and compliance within our cloud operations.

As a Cloud Engineer – Tier II, you will work extensively with Microsoft Azure tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for proactive monitoring. You'll also use scripting tools and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform to enhance automation and streamline cloud deployments, ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is efficient and reliable.
