Institutional Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Institutional Sales Manager to join our team in Japan. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, a deep understanding of the financial industry, and excellent connections within the banking and financial services sector. The role requires a high level of proficiency in managing client relationships and executing strategic sales initiatives. Experience in Over-the-Counter (OTC) sales is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting institutional clients, including banks, asset managers, hedge funds, and other financial institutions.

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the financial services industry, leveraging an established network to identify new business opportunities.

• Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and client meetings to negotiating deals and closing sales.

• Work closely with internal teams (trading, research, product development, etc.) to deliver customized solutions to clients.

• Identify market trends and client needs to propose suitable products and services, particularly in OTC products and financial instruments.

• Monitor market developments and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

• Proven track record in sales, ideally within the financial services or banking sector.

• Extensive network and strong relationships with institutional clients, especially in the banking and financial services industries.

• In-depth understanding of the financial markets, trading products, and investment strategies.

• Experience with OTC sales or derivatives sales is highly desirable.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, results-drivenenvironment.

• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the Japanese financial market.
