Role Overview
Part of Packt's mission is achieved through the sale of our content to Indian businesses. This is a successful part of the Packt business that we are looking to expand. We are looking for a Sales Executive to help research, identify and sell to academic institutions and universities across the South and East of India, build relationships with potential resellers, and to cultivate relationships with existing customers. We are looking for a sales executive who will be conscientious, proactive, and passionate, capable of taking the initiative, building lasting relationships, as well as rapidly converting centrally driven enquiries.
Reporting to the Regional Business Head, you will research the academic market in the South and East of India, generate new potential leads, and meet with institutions to sell access to Packt’s digital library of content. You will meet regularly with both potential and existing accounts, understanding, and recording their key challenges and requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience and have strong relational, written, and verbal communication skills.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to move into a senior sales role and will provide the opportunity to build a high-performance team. Your enthusiasm, willingness to learn, and dedication will directly influence the adoption of our learning resources, expansion of our partners, and help shape the future of technology education.
