Workday HCM Specialist

Job Description:

Position Overview

Penn Mutual is seeking a detail-oriented Workday HCM Specialist to support our growing HRIS team.  This position will be responsible for managing Workday data to support our 1200 employees. The main focus of this role is ensuring data integrity, creating reports and providing insights to support the organization. This position is 100% remote.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and updates employee records in Workday, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
  • Enters job changes and maintains supervisory organizations in Workday.
  • Serves as the first tier primary point of contact on Workday support needs.
  • Tests updates and new features of the system in sandbox to verify accuracy of processes.
  • Completes Workday new hire business process tasks, such as assigning pay groups, department/division number and other data elements.
  • Reviews and troubleshoots reviews integration reports between Workday and ADP.
  • Troubleshoot issues by identifying and diagnosing root causes.  Provide solutions or escalate as needed.
  • Performs regular audits of system data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Responds to employee cases in the Workday Help module including time and absence cases.
  • Creates, modifies and runs simple report requests.
  • Creates and maintains Workday documentation and job aids. Enters help text within the platform.
  • Provides training support on HCM business processes.
  • Maintains technical and industry knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other forums.
  • Assist with twice per year Workday releases, testing and troubleshooting.

Experience

  • Minimum of 1 year Workday HCM experience required.

Education/Licenses/Professional Designations

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

Base Salary Range - $60,000 - $72,000
