Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant (remote in the United Kingdom)

About the Role 

You will be an early member of Pulsora’s Solutions Consultant team and play a pivotal role in our growth. You will perform sales engineering, lead enterprise implementations across the region, and manage customers within customer success. You will be the technical face to our customers, collaborating with end-users to help turn questions into answers and insights! Your contribution will give valuable design insights that contribute to the direction and roadmap of the product line, working closely with our world-class engineering team (with leadership experience from Nielsen, Oracle, TIBCO). Plus, you will gain exposure through a variety of customer engagements in different industries, departments, and geographies. 

Day to day responsibilities: 

  • Lead product demonstrations to prospects, tailoring each demo specifically to the customer needs. Learn all asset classes within Pulsora to pitch the product through many different industry lenses and to different personas

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to conduct compelling virtual and in-person meetings to prospects

  • Hands-on creation and delivery of configured demos, POC's and pilots, in conjunction with the Engineering team, including understanding business requirements, data modeling, validations, integrations, ETL, analytics and workflow 

  • Completion of RFPs and RFIs for prospects with an extreme attention to detail, tailoring each response specifically to the prospects use case

  • Analyze our customer’s needs and services to design and implement solutions that would maximize productivity and enhance the quality of deliverables 

  • Develop expertise of our product and industry to credibly answer business questions for our prospects and customers; demonstrate how to get the most from our product 

  • Lead complicated enterprise implementations of the Pulsora platform with new customers in the EMEA region and beyond

  • Lead customer success for customers, running quarterly business reviews, maintaining relationships, and helping them launch their annual collection/reporting cycles

About you 

  • Previous experience as a sales engineer for a SaaS business

  • Previous experience in an enterprise software  implementation or technical consultant role, ideally working with a startup / emerging SaaS platform

  • Possess a technical understanding in the following areas: DMBA, SQL, BPM, analytics (Apache Superset), Java, JavaScript, Python, and general open-source tech

  • Proven track record of success in leading customers through software implementation and solutions configuration projects

  • Familiarity with carbon emissions data and/or reporting through standards such as the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) , SASB, GRI or others is a plus

  • Thrive on juggling projects, multitasking, and working with offshore teams primarily in India 

  • Must be highly self-motivated, nimble, with a ‘can-do’ attitude; you excel working in a startup and remote environment 

  • You have experience: 

    • 5-10 years of work experience in technical solutions

    • Bachelor’s in business, computer science, engineering, information systems or equivalent
