Renewal by Andersen is the custom division of Andersen Windows. Founded in 1903, Andersen Windows has been the world’s largest and most recognized brand for exclusive window and door systems. Renewal by Andersen was founded with the objective of creating a different and better window and door replacement experience for homeowners.

 

Renewal by Andersen is seeking a professional, friendly receptionist to represent our team and serve as the first point of contact for guests visiting our busy office from Monday to Friday. In this role, you will show a strong attention to detail, keen organizational skills, and have a proven administrative background to assist our office in running the reception area. Key responsibilities include greeting guests when they arrive on-site, explaining how to navigate our office, answering and transferring phone calls and managing our incoming and outgoing mail.  

 

Primary Responsibilities:

- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.

- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.

- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.

- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures).

- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.

- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.

- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).

- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.

- Manage conference room reservations.

- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs.

- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.

 

Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or a similar role (required)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (preferred)

- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., phones, fax machines, printers)

- Professional and friendly attitude

- Solid written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise

- Excellent organizational skills

- Time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks

- Customer service attitude

- High school degree or equivalent (required)

 

Compensation and Benefits:

- $23-25/hr.
