FORKLIFT OPERATOR

For the Forklift Operator role at Shearer’s, you should have at least one year of experience in operating propane sit-down lifts. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred, alongside a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are vital, as you'll be interacting with coworkers and management regularly. Basic math skills will assist you in efficiently tracking inventory and managing tasks.

Forklift Operators at Shearer’s typically work a 2-2-3 schedule, which means you’ll have two days on, two days off, and then three days on. This pattern allows for a balanced work-life schedule, and shifts are available either from 7AM to 7PM or 7PM to 7AM. Flexibility is essential, as you may also need to work weekends and overtime based on the demands of production.
