Space Age Electronics is seeking an experienced Shop Supervisor to join their team in Templeton, MA
If you have proven experience as a shop supervisor or similar role in a fabrication or manufacturing environment, including experience with OSHA and working with ERP systems, this is a career you owe it to yourself to explore. Management experience in a metal fabrication shop is desired but not required

- Life Saving Products: Feel good managing a team responsible for manufacturing components used in a variety of industries including electrical, fire alarm, security, access control, emergency communications, and mass notification.
- Great Day Schedule: Monday to Friday working 6:00am to 2:30pm.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the fabrication shop, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of fabrication workers, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Oversee the operation of fabrication equipment, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
- Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to maximize efficiency and meet production deadlines.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Work in the ERP software to maintain and process jobs as required during daily production.
- Collaborate with scheduling and the other manufacturing areas of the business to ensure product is being built on time.
- Work to facilitate cross-training on different fabrication processes between the production staff.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation.
- Address any issues or concerns that arise in the shop, implementing solutions to resolve them promptly.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
