The Technical Project Manager is a functional expert whose focus is to help operationalize our Retail Media Network (RMN) line of business and the work / output needed for growing existing & new clients:


  • Manage current client roadmaps, partnering with internal and client stakeholders to build and execute new tactics and opportunities.
  • Provide project management support for client stand ups, refinements and sprint planning sessions, coordinating tasks and activities back with internal Goodway Group teams.
  • This role provides both project management expertise and strategic thought leadership. You will help define, implement, and improve operational policies and guidelines for RMN line of business. The work and projects that you lead will contribute to Goodway’s continued success and RMN line of business growth.


What You Will Do


  • Manage the roadmap for current clients, including:
  • Managing the strategic roadmap and test plans for media and analytics, coordinating across all our internal GWG / external client teams and partners
  • Roadmap would include items such as: go-to-market strategies, new tactics, reporting enhancements, data additions to mar-tech stack, enhanced media offerings, attribution enhancements, etc.
  • Understand and outline dependencies and interdependencies.
  • Meet regularly with key client stakeholders to understand business needs and develop timelines and plans for Goodway Group to support execution of business needs
  • Provide project management support for Goodway Group to client stand ups, refinements, and sprint planning sessions with client mar-tech partners. Coordinate tasks and activities back with internal GWG teams
  • Provide clear communication to internal team members and clients, including consistent and timely guidance
  • Proactively identify roadblocks and work cross-functionally to determine resolution requirements
  • Cross-functional collaboration with key Goodway Group stakeholders:
  • Work with Client Experience, Planning, Data, and Media Solutions to project manage the roll out of new opportunities in Retail Media Network space
  • Work closely with Client Experience and Media Solutions to ensure quality hand-offs for new tactical executions between the Goodway team and client teams: no drop off in understanding of business/media objectives (the “why”)
  • Be a Project Management expert and resource:
  • Audit existing work flows to find opportunities for streamlining whether through better use of the tools, more defined work flows, enhanced automations, etc.
  • Clearly define work flows for internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency across functions and swim lanes
  • Keep project management tools, such as Monday.com or Confluence/JIRA, up to date
  • Steward documentation
  • As a center point to all functions you’ll help define documentation requirements that will allow for clearly defined projects and aligned teams (internal and external)
  • Provide regular audits of documentation to ensure all materials are up to date and reflect the current state of client needs
  • Be a Retail Media Network and mar-tech resource:
  • Have a comfort and understanding of both ad-tech and mar-tech tools and terms, such as DSPs, SSPs, Trading Desks, Ad Servers, CRM tools, Dashboard providers, Cloud Warehouses, Clean Rooms, etc.
  • Partner and align with client’s mar-tech team and partners: technical acumen is a must
  • Engage in industry knowledge opportunities (i.e., conversation, podcast, webinar, etc.) to stay relevant within the RMN space
  • Have a "roll up the sleeves" attitude to get the work completed


Who You Are


  • 7+ years’ experience in project management, with 5+ years of experience in the digital marketing space
  • Excellent communicator, across multiple levels/functions with the ability to influence and drive action
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate quantitative details into clear, succinct summaries and recommendations for peers, sales, and executive audiences
  • Strong working knowledge of Ad Tech and Digital Advertising industry
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management tools (i.e, Confluence/JIRA, Monday.com, Smartsheets, LucidChart, etc.)
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a focus on execution, ability to juggle multiple urgent requests and prioritize responsibilities
  • Innovative and a life-long learner with a growth mindset
