Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in human nutrition and/or Dietetics or equivalent combination of education and experience from an accredited institution of higher education
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) via the Commission on Dietetic Registration
Licensure from the Arkansas Dietetics Licensing Board (LD)
At least one to three years of healthcare experience in clinical dietetics
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Dietetics or related field from an accredited institution of higher education
Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietician (CEDRD) or willingness to work toward Certification.
Professional experience in a college health setting or with a college population.
Knowledge Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Extensive knowledge and skills to utilize various methods to deliver learning solutions for desired training outcomes.
Extensive knowledge and application of the communication techniques and relationship building skills; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Working knowledge and understanding of (young) adult growth and development.
Knowledge and ability to use office support tools available on the desktop (e.g. Microsoft Office, e-mail, presentation software, and electronic medical record).
Additional Information:
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
