Summary of Job Duties:

The Strength and Conditioning Intern will assist strength and conditioning staff with implementation of sports performance programs for Olympic sports, facility maintenance and upkeep, and gain professional development throughout the internship. This position will mainly work with Track and Field, and Swim and Dive programs.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate looking to gain experience in a collegiate strength and conditioning setting

  • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certified

  • Currently holds a certification from either CSCCa (SCCC) or NSCA (CSCS)

  • A strong desire to pursue a career in collegiate or professional athletic performance

  • Availability to commit to at least 30 hours/week

  • Prior experience with collegiate strength and conditioning
