Buyer

As a Buyer at Ursa Major, you'll be responsible for creating and managing purchase orders for raw materials, components, and services necessary for our manufacturing processes. Regularly updating Supply Chain leadership and internal customers on the status of purchases, negotiating prices and terms with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with regulations are also key responsibilities. Additionally, you'll establish strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues related to discrepancies or shipment delays.

To qualify for the Buyer position at Ursa Major, you should have 1-2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with regulations in the Federal Government procurement environment and modern ERP systems is a plus. A project management background and strong communication skills are also essential for success in this role.
