The Ecosystem & Operational Risk team is responsible for building critical risk and fraud detection services at Visa. This includes idea generation, architecture, design, development, and testing of products, applications, and services that provide solutions to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud for Visa and its clients.
Essential Functions

Basic Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Experience in creating data driven business solutions and solving data problems using a wide variety of technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, Redis, NoSQL, as well as traditional data technologies like RDBMS, MySQL a plus.
Experience writing complex/advanced SQL queries.
Hands on experience in a Unix/Linux environment.
Application development experience in Java/J2EE or other frameworks.
Experience with Continuous Integration & Development and automation tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Git etc.
Experience with Agile and Test-Driven Development methodology.
Strong analytical skills with excellent problem-solving ability.
Ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise way.
Past experience with ML technologies like TensorFlow, Pandas is a plus.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 116,500.00 to 164,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
