Production System Integration Lead

We are looking for a Production Integration Lead to join our team. The goal of a Production Integration Lead at Wisk is to ensure that aircraft production is executed to program schedules through technical challenges. You will be part of the Structures Integrated Product team that engineers and delivers the structure of the aircraft.


Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Headquarters office in Mountain View, California.


In this role you will work cross functionally to inform and represent production system requirements and plans to the Integrated Product Teams.


What you will do:
  • As part of the production engineering organization, and deployed in an structures team you will act as a production integrator for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market
  • You will take part in planning, executing and overseeing production within an IPT.
  • You will support active production efforts and the IPT program managers by escalating roadblocks, risks and opportunities.
  • You will help coordinate production planning, standard development, risk mitigation and production readiness.
  • You will take part in gated reviews, executive report outs and continuous improvement activities for the future of the aircraft and its production.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 8 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 2 years of experience in the production of complex items that are subjected to regulatory compliance.
  • You have worked in aerospace, automotive, electronics or medical device production.  
  • You have hands-on experience overseeing or partaking in production and engineering efforts of a complex article.
  • You have a deep and applied knowledge of complex engineered products and production systems.
  • You have led teams that have achieved the introduction of a new production into production or have increased rates of an existing production system.
  • You are familiar with project management, taking a design to production, and continuous improvement.
  • This role will require 5-10% of travel


$148,852 - $175,120 a year

Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $148,852 - $175,120 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.

Wisk HQ is located in Mountain View just a couple of hundred feet from Shoreline Lake and its surrounding walking/jogging trails.
