AECOM has a position available for an Electrical Engineering Department Lead to manage our growing and talented Electrical Engineering team within the US Energy Practice. For this role, AECOM offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and/or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States.
AECOM's broad technical capabilities, global footprint and experience in executing large scale projects uniquely position us to advance our client’s most meaningful industrial and power projects. Our team provides a wide range of electrical engineering services across markets sectors including industrial facilities (mining, water treatment, Oil and Gas), thermal power generation (coal and natural gas), transmission (substations, OH/UG transmission systems, generator interconnections, interconnection strategy), power distribution (OH/UG power systems, substations, EV charging networks, microgrid design, etc.), renewables (Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems, Wind), and next generation energy (hydrogen, fuel cells, electrolyzers, etc.).
This position requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering design, equipment, system modeling, and construction processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage the electrical technical team and lead projects as discipline electrical lead in responsible charge.
