AHRC New York City is seeking a Recruitment Specialist for their Home Care division.
Salary: $40,000 - $45,000 per year plus a comprehensive Benefit package. See Benefit information below.
Schedule: Monday -Friday
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Independently recruit and screen applicants for vacant positions and refer qualified applicants for
vacant positions to hiring managers.
▪ Conduct reference checks on potential new hires; prepare, track, and distribute job postings, and
provide assistance with fingerprinting duties as needed.
▪ Assist in coordination and participate in events associated with recruitment, such as job fairs and
other events and serve as a representative of the agency at recruitment events, as applicable.
▪ Assist in developing new recruitment marketing materials and tools that attract appropriate and
qualified candidates for vacant job positions.
▪ Contribute to development and maintenance of recruitment metrics and reporting to senior
management.
▪ Participate in ad hoc personnel management and recruitment projects, as requested.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
▪ Bachelor’s degree or certification in a related area of Human Resources required.
▪ Experience in recruitment or human services required.
▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact and communicate with
diverse populations and multiple stakeholders.
▪ Expertise in MS Office applications and capacity to undertake working on agency-specific HR
information system databases.
▪ Ability to work independently and complete tasks according to assigned deadlines.
▪ Ability to set own priorities and conduct multiple tasks in timely and accurate manner.
▪ Must expect to travel around the five boroughs of New York City.
