The Team
Ankorstore partners with brands to grow their wholesale business through simple, efficient, and cost-effective ways to connect with independent retailers, process orders and handle logistics.
In order to deliver the best experience possible to the retailers, we need to accompany those brands through a best in class account management. That’s the mission of the French Brand Success Team, that is responsible for managing and growing brands available on Ankorstore.
As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Category Managers and Head of Sales to drive growth within a specific category.
Your Sales mindset will be central in your position as you’ll be responsible for the business growth of your category.
The team values collaboration, curiosity, and a customer-centric approach to achieve exceptional results in the ever-evolving e-commerce landscape.
Main Responsibilities
As a Category Management Associate, you will be supporting the local category manager in your category animation.
Grow Your Category Business :
Identify and nurture brands with potential within your category to help them grow their B2B sales.
Maintain and nurture a close relationship with top brands driving overall GMV and impacting your category's gross margin.
Commercially animate the category (event preparation, offers, promoting new feature adoption, etc.).
Ensure a high brand satisfaction rate and minimize churn.
Report on the Category Performance :
Build and present regular updates on the performance of the category.
Report on the impact of the latest actions taken within the category.
Share your perspective on what needs to be done to grow your category business.
Shape and Build the Future of the Category :
Contribute to the evolution of our value proposition - Be proactive in suggesting continuous product improvements.
Collect and synthesize customer feedback to inform our product roadmap.
Work closely with Product & Tech teams for the continuous improvement of the category (search, ranking, offer management, etc.).
Requirements
First experience in a similar position - Sales or Account Management
You're not afraid to get your hands dirty and play an active role in business growth
You're a team player
Strong sales competencies: You’re able to have tough conversations with the brands and are not afraid to pick up the phone nor to meet in person to reach your team’s objectives.
Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze market trends, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights from data to support decision-making processes.
Rigorous and well structured: Time management is key, and you know how to focus on what matters most for your category’s growth.
Fluent French speaker (you will be speaking with many French brands so will need to be Native or very high working proficiency)
You are based in Paris or can get to Paris easily (we will require somebody to be in the office 4 days per week)
