The Opportunity:  

The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need you, a financial program analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure our Army resources can make the most impact.

As a financial program analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help our client's exercise portfolios succeed. You’ll work with planners across all levels to develop actionable plans for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals. 

Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with leaders and stakeholders. You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience with Army or Joint funding in a budget analyst role
  • 3+ years of experience performing detailed budget analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platforms, including Power BI
  • Experience assisting in the creation of organizational spend plans
  • Ability to articulate and display financial information to dozens of stakeholders
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience with budget reporting through General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
  • Experience managing Army and Joint funds at Echelons Above Brigade
  • Experience with Army or Joint exercises in the INDOPACOM Area of Operations
  • Knowledge of Fiscal Law principles
  • Experience creating Program Objective Memorandums (POMs)
  • Department of Defense Financial Management Certification Program (DoDFMCP) Certification

Clearance:   

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
