Senior Platform Engineer - job 1 of 2

As a Senior Platform Engineer at Beamery, your primary responsibilities will include building and evolving our managed services and tools that ensure other teams can run scalable and reliable services. You'll drive continuous improvement in incident response, establish best practices in incident management, and lead technical initiatives that enhance our platform. Furthermore, you will support the engineering teams with technical leadership and mentorship, while also designing secure and scalable solutions to address complex problems.

To be considered for the Senior Platform Engineer position at Beamery, candidates should have hands-on SRE experience, particularly in maintaining cloud-based services. Proficiency in Go and/or JavaScript/TypeScript is essential, as much of our tooling is built in these languages. Additionally, candidates should have experience with Infrastructure as Code principles, ideally with Terraform, as well as familiarity with Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Istio. Problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach are also highly valued.
