The design intern would focus on design and research operations within the digital design team - working closely with designers and researchers to manage the design and research backlog, support UX research work, and help the team build, standardize, and manage personas and journey maps across key design... efforts. Information Services is comprised of over 650 individuals working together to provide effective delivery of system development, implentation and support as well as strategic IT planning and analysis to BJC's Hospitals and health Service Organizations. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The BJC Career Development Intern Program (CDIP) will support the pipeline initiatives of BJC Healthcare. We have a variety of paid internships for both undergraduate and graduate students. Most internship assignments are project-based. As an intern in the career development program students can expect to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. Students must be enrolled in a degreed program - preference given to students who have completed at a minimum, freshmen year.Students will have exposure to a variety of professional experiences: ?Professional development training and workshops?Extensive networking opportunities?Interaction with senior leaders?A dedicated support network Responsibilities • Navigates project requests using critical thinking skills. • Communicates effectively with staff and project leaders. • Takes initiative to identify additional work not assigned that enhances the effort with logical next steps. • Excels in a team-based environment. • Solves problems using creativity and innovation.
